The symposium, to be held on September 10 and 11, 2015, is aimed to honor Dr. Flavell’s numerous contributions in biomedical sciences and to provide an updated review on several scientific fields in which he has made great discoveries.
This event promises exciting presentations by leaders in Gene Structure and Regulation, Signal Transduction, Immune Regulation, Autoimmune and Inflammatory Diseases and is sure to draw strong attendance from scientists across diverse academic backgrounds.
Visitors Coming by Plane:
Tweed New Haven Airport is 10 minutes from the Yale campus by car or taxi. Bradley International Airport is located in Hartford, CT, approximately 1 hour from the Yale Medical Campus. The two New York Airports, JFK and LaGuardia, are about 2 ½ hrs. from New Haven. There is frequent limousine service from the major airports in the area.
Visitors Coming by Train (New Haven-Union Station):
New Haven is serviced by both MetroNorth and Amtrak. The New Haven stop is the closest to the Medical School. The taxi stand is located in front of Union Station.
