Biography

Seungjin is interested in research about immune-metabolic interaction and how alteration of it can affect aging and age-related diseases. He got his Ph.D. in the Suh lab at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine identifying genetics signature of aging by human genetics approach including high-throughput sequencing of genes in long-lived individuals. Currently, his research focuses on how a metabolically important adipokine regulates the immune system and how it can contribute to aging and aging-related diseases.
